Pascal ETCHENIC was born at St Jean de Luz in 1948. After several years spent in the workshop of Juan Benito and Spencer, he opened his own studio-gallery in Paris in 1973 where he worked on engraving, pastels and oil painting. In 1983, he moved to Saint Raphaël on the Côte d'Azur. "Etchenic transcends Mediterranean landscape and his compositions which open out onto stretches of liberty show a determined will to simplify".
